Work Exchange Volunteer Terms and Conditions

Welcome to our eco-campus's work exchange volunteer program! We are excited to have you join us in promoting sustainability and environmental stewardship. Before you begin your volunteer experience, please read and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Volunteer Commitment: As a work exchange volunteer, you are committing to contribute your time, skills, and efforts to support our eco-farm's activities for the agreed-upon period.

2. Duration: The duration of your volunteer stay will be mutually agreed upon before your arrival. Extensions or changes to the agreed period must be discussed and approved in advance.

3. Working Hours: You will be expected to contribute a specified number of hours per week in exchange for the benefits outlined in our work exchange program.

4. Scope of Work: Your tasks and responsibilities will be determined based on your skills, interests, and the current needs of the eco-farm. These tasks may include gardening, farming, wildlife monitoring, assisting with workshops, and other sustainable initiatives.

5. Accommodation and Meals: In exchange for your work, we will provide you with basic accommodation and meals during your stay. Please be aware that the accommodation may be shared, and facilities may be rustic in nature.

6. Self-Sufficiency: While we will do our best to accommodate dietary preferences, volunteers should be open to trying local and sustainable food options available at the eco-farm.

7. Health and Safety: Your safety is our priority. Please inform us of any health conditions, allergies, or physical limitations that may affect your ability to perform certain tasks.

8. Respect and Teamwork: We expect all volunteers to treat each other, our staff, and the environment with respect and kindness. Cooperation and teamwork are essential for a harmonious experience.

9. Conduct and Behavior: Volunteers must adhere to the rules and guidelines set by the eco-campus. Any disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

10. Personal Belongings: Volunteers are responsible for their personal belongings. Please take care of your possessions and keep your living area tidy.

11. Insurance: It is the volunteer's responsibility to have valid travel insurance that covers health and accidents during their stay.

12. Transportation: Volunteers are responsible for their transportation to and from the eco-farm. We may assist in providing directions or arranging local transport if possible.

13. Photography and Media: Volunteers are encouraged to take photographs and share their experiences on social media. However, always seek permission before photographing others or sensitive areas of the eco-farm.

14. Cancellation: In the event of unexpected circumstances requiring a change in your plans, please inform us as soon as possible. Likewise, we will notify you if any unforeseen changes affect the volunteer program.

15. Feedback and Evaluation: We welcome your feedback and suggestions. Periodic evaluations will be conducted to ensure that the volunteer program meets your expectations and contributes positively to our eco-campus's goals.
